A family made from what survived.
Rebecca Sugar’s animated series follows Steven, a boy who is part human and part Gem. He inherits a magical gemstone from his mother, Rose Quartz, and joins the Crystal Gems in protecting Earth. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are central to his life.

A story about reconciliation can leave us expecting forgiveness at the end of every conflict. Real people get to choose distance and protection. A child, friend, or partner deserves belonging without having to repair everyone around them.
