Browsing

You can use the public website without creating an account or identifying yourself.

Community membership

If you join the optional community area, we store your email address, invitation and access status, puzzle progress, and any contribution you choose to add to the shared story. These records are separate from private care and other community-management records.

A necessary sign-in cookie lasts up to seven days. Email sign-in links expire in 15 minutes. Terra is a scripted story guide; we do not store terminal conversations.

Open Account details in the community to download your member data or delete your account and progress. Withdrawing a contribution or deleting your account may close the shared story archive again. You can use public help and resources without joining.

Forms

When you sign up for news, register for an event, offer to volunteer, or ask for help, we keep the information you provide so we can respond and keep the records that service needs.

How you found us, and spam prevention

We may record which page or campaign brought you here. We also keep limited technical information to prevent spam and abuse. We do not build personal profiles from anonymous browsing.

Donations

The payment provider should handle payment details such as card numbers; those details should stay out of The Infinite Hand database. You can choose to be anonymous in our community records where possible. The payment provider may still need information that identifies you.

Help requests

A help request can contain private, sensitive details. We restrict access to those records. For public reports, we use combined numbers; we do not publish your individual story by default.
