Come on in.

Love is all there is. I keep coming back to that, then asking what we’re going to do with it today.

Sometimes the answer is a working phone. So much of life asks you to be online: the job application, the housing listing, the message from your doctor, the friend checking in. Losing that connection makes everything else harder.

We help people get connected and stay connected. We provide devices when we can and help people find existing programs. If a form or a system has you going in circles, we can work through the options with you.

And we need somewhere to spend time together outside home and work. I want room for a shared meal, difficult questions, making things, and laughing so hard the conversation has to stop for a minute. Joy belongs here, too.

You can bring your religion, your skepticism, or the questions you haven’t found words for yet. We ask you to treat people with dignity and give them the same room to be themselves.

There’s a bit of Star Trek and solarpunk in the future I’m imagining: technology that helps us take care of each other, a healthier relationship with the planet, and time left over to enjoy it. We have a lot to figure out. We can start with the people and resources we have here in Kansas City.

Come to a gathering, tell us what you need, or lend a hand. Thank you for being curious enough to get this far.
